Hair Fly
Although there are hundreds of types of flies for fly fishing used, most of them are grouped into five categories or types. These types are dry flies, wet flies, nymphs, streamers and tails Buck, and earth. The main objective of the fly is to imitate insects that fish eat.
A dry fly imitates a natural insect that floats above the water. Fish is very sensitive to any movement its rivers and how they move the insects they want food. In fly fishing a dry fly, moves a little against the tide, the fish have nothing to do with it. The fly may look like something the fish, but said he was not acting the same insect would. The fish recognizes it as something strange in the water and left alone.
In Fly fishing a wet fly is imitating a natural insect drowned or drowning, and operated under the water surface. Person not sure if the fly is submerged considered an insect drowning adult or nymph from the perspective of the fish. Most fly fishermen today seem to believe that we see as a nymph. Because of this wet flies less and less, are sold. The fly fishing wet is the oldest form of fishing fly. It dates back to descriptions of the ancient people of Macedonia.
A nymph is the stage between an egg and the life cycle of an adult insect. In fly fishing, flies that resemble nymphs are growing popularity. The nymph fly is just below the water surface. When a fish out water without breaking the surface, is nymphing. That means the fish eating the natural nymphs just emerging from its shell. That's what nymph fly imitates.
Bands and tail flies do not imitate the money throughout the life cycle of the insect. These types of fly fishing flies are much more important and represent small bait fish, redfish and small. The main difference between theses two types of flies is that streamers are tied with feathers and Bucktails are related to the hair completely. Fly fishing that uses these two types of flies generally requires more rod and line handling. The movements are supposed to replicate the movements of small fish.
Although most flies are insects of water stolen land is made to imitate a land insect that has fallen into the water. Who are the two most common are imitated by the fly fishing are the ant and the grasshopper.
In addition to these five basic categories of flies, there are many other types of flies for fly fishing.
